Lydia is a very pretty calico found nearish to Black and White Cat World. Diane, the B/W caretaker, says her husband Jerry "scared the kitty out of the peony bush near our parking area when he came down to help bring in groceries last night. note to my husband: help bring in groceries. He said there is something wrong with her eye. I knelt down to take a look and try to coax her out --imagine my horror when she looked at me with one eye and a pink socket! I put some food down immediately, because who goes grocery shopping without buying cat food, and she immediately went for it."
Lydia is a very sweet and affectionate cat. She is a young adult, apparently has had kittens at some point in the not too distant past, and ... has a very distressing problem with her eye. She is ravenous. After a stopover at Ruth's Hotel de Garage she is now with fostermom Amy who says she is the friendliest cat she's ever met, and it's hard to take pictures because Lydia keeps getting right up into the camera in order to be close to her new fostermom.
