Ok so you've seen the video and you've seen the new logo and slogan, so let's get to what you really care about, hockey related matters. Here are some more details from today's 20th season launch press conference, so you can be up to date on all the latest Sens news for our anniversary season.
- The pre-season games, opening night against Dany Heatley and the Minnesota Wild (Oct 11th), and the 3 and 5 game packages will go on sale to the public Tuesday, August 9th.
- All the other regular season single game tickets will go on sale Sept 12th. Though to be fair, Cyril Leeder said at the presser that it would be August 12th, so not sure if it's a slip of the tongue or a mix up of dates but stay tuned to get your tickets.
- On opening night, fans will recieve a commemorative 20th anniversary pin and the 1992-93 Sens will be at the game.
- The Sens will debut the new heritage jersey against the Colorado Avalanche on Thursday, October 13th. All fans at that game will recieve a new heritage pin.
- The jerseys won't be unveiled until a week or so before that debut unfortunately.
- They will wear the heritage jerseys 11 games this season.
- There will be a Roger Neilson tribute night.
- The hashtag that the Sens will be using for the 20th season is #Sens20, so be sure to label your posts with that or search for posts containing that throughout the season.
- Pat Nighbor, son of legendary sens player and HOFer Frank was on hand. That was a cool touch to see.
-The Sens described their Hockey Makes Us theme as a "represenation of what the game of hockey means to players, fans and the community".

Cyril Leeder: "This will be a special season for Senators fans. From the all star game, to a new heritage jersey and special promotions and tributes, we look to recognize the great moments from the last 20 years, while embracing why hockey makes us such big Senators fans".
Ottawa Mayor Jim Watson: "Canada is the home of hockey and our city is proud to have the Senators as such an important part of our community. Sens' 20th anniversary season will be a celebration of a great partnership between the people of Ottawa and the team".
Daniel Alfredsson: " I have been part of this team and this community for more than 16 years. Having the all star game here as we celebrate our 20th anniversary will make this season a special one for the fans, both on and off the ice".
