The Bears just can't seem to catch a break...
"According to what sources have revealed to ESPN.com, Forte has a Grade 2 MCL sprain, and will be out for two to six weeks. Obviously, if the recuperation lasts towards the lengthier end of that estimate, he will be unable to help the team on the field in their march towards the playoffs (ESPN)."
You just knew it was bad news when they ruled him out for the rest of the game the second he got to the locker room. With the Bears not having Cutler or Forte I just can't see how they are going to make the playoffs. If the season ended today they would be in, but I think the Lions and Giants will end up forcing them out before the season is over (those two teams are currently not in).
I feel bad for Forte. He deserved a new deal and is the best player on the team. I hope he is able to come back soon, but it really sounds like he is probably going to miss the rest of the year, which blows because I have him in all three of my fantasy leagues.
