Cherington: We're Done Making Moves

"Red Sox GM Ben Cherington indicated to MLB.com's Ian Browne that the team is unlikely to make any big changes to the roster before Spring Training. "If Spring Training were to start tomorrow, we'd feel good about where we are and [we'd be] ready to put the team together," said the GM (MLBTradeRumors)."

1. J. Lester
2. J. Beckett
3. C. Buchholz
4. D. Bard
5. Aceves/Doubront/Silva/Padilla/Cook

Even if Bard is good, do you feel good about that rotation? There isn't really any chance that either Beckett or Buchholz won't get hurt. There really isn't any chance that they will have more then 1 guy pitch over 200 innings, and they gutted the bullpen this offseason. Meanwhile, the Yankees have gotten better, the Rays just keep pumping out young talent. Don't even get me started that we have a oft-injured 3rd baseman, an already hurt RF, and a DH that can't do anything else but DH leaving no room to put anyone else there.

I am usually so positive when it comes to the Red Sox, but I just don't feel good about this team. Hopefully, I am wrong.
