Super Bowl In London?

Colts owner (Irsay) is on the board that decides where the Super Bowl will be played. Here is what he had to say...

“There’s a little bit of change in philosophy,” Irsay said Monday. “We have the 50-year anniversary coming up, which we’re looking at. There are some members of our committee who have been thinking about having an international Super Bowl in London. That obviously has some real pluses and minuses if you weren’t going to have it on America soil. Right now, we’re in a wait-and-see approach (CBS Sports).”

You can't have the Super Bowl anywhere but America. I am actually going to the Super Bowl this year, and let me tell you it was a bitch to try to plan out how to get there, where to stay, ect. I am flying into Chicago then driving 4 hours down to Indianapolis and staying in a place that is roughly an hour away from the stadium. It was the only way I could keep costs down. It's about 900 bucks a night for any hotel room in Indianapolis, and the flights there are about the same.

So, I could only imagine how god-awful it would be to try to plan this while having to go to another country. Passports, hotels, flight costs, ect... Fuck that. Football is an American sport. People over there don't give a shit about it, and that's fine. I am sure they wouldn't want there soccer championships in Dallas. Keep the biggest game where it belongs... in the US.
