The Celtics Are Going To Be Fine

There is a ton of negativity surrounding the Celtics this year because they are older, but this guy thinks that a 3-4 seed is going to be pretty easy to get.

Our Roster right now is:
PG: Rajon Rondo/ Keyon Dooling/ Avery Bradley
SG: Ray Allen/ Keyon Dooling/ E'Twaun Moore
SF: Paul Pierce/ Marquis Daniels/ Sasha Pavlovic
PF: Kevin Garnett/ Brandon Bass/ JuJuan Johnson
C: Jermaine O'Neal/ Chris Wilcox/ Greg Stiemsma

That's still pretty fucking good. We still have 4 all stars in our starting line up and a decent bench. This year, Rondo has no other choice than to play at a top PG level, he's been in all trade speculation, people have questioned his character, I will not be surprised if he averages 18 points, 5 rebounds and 11 assists a game. I don't know how much Doc will play Dooling at 1 or 2 but he has impressed me a ton this pre season. Watch out for Avery Bradley also, he's going to have to play and shows glimpses in scoring in bunches.

Ray Allen is still deadly from deep, I feel of all the older guys, this guy can play as many minutes as you want him to. He has been fine defensively and when he gets hot, he is our best weapon. E'Twaun Moore is a rookie and a second round pick, but there is something about this kid. I don't how much I can stock in practice and preseason, but Moore has probably been the most impressive out of all the young guys.

Paul Pierce is still Paul Pierce. Yes, he's a year old, yes he already has a heel injury but he can still take a game over easily. He has done it for so many years and will continue to do so. He doesn't need to worry about losing speed because that has never been part of his game, it's all just been footwork. I still trust Pierce as much as anyone in the league with the game on the line. The second most impressive person this pre season is Marquis Daniels, people scoff at Quisy because he looks stoned all the time and even plays that way, but he is a couple years removed from scoring 14 points a game and is a pretty versatile player. He can play the 1-3 spots and is a tough defender. I like him a lot. I can't say many positive things about Sasha Pavlovic other than he's an under rated defender.

Of anyone on this team, I'm expecting big things from KG. This is his swan song and I have a feeling he is going to put everything he has this year out on the court. Kevin Garnett will average a big double double this year and is still the leader of the defense. This team may be old, and age may limit them somewhat but if anyone can make them limitless it's this guy. This guy has the heart of a champion and everyone on the team can become a believer if they jump on his will. Brandon Bass is probably the 2nd most player I'm excited to see. He's Big Baby but better. For some foolish reason the Magic traded him straight up for BBD and he is perfect. Although he is undersized he can do everything Glen did, but better, he has a better shot, better rebounder and a better attitude. His only question mark is defensively, but in this team defensive scheme Doc has. JuJuan Johnson hasn't been too impressive this preseason. He looks like KG from a body stand point and was a double double machine and an all defensive player at Georgia Tech. Hopefully with practice it'll come.

At center Jermaine O'Neal is healthy and will be a factor. Last year he was a complete bust but this year I see him being pretty decent. It may not be double double worthy, but I think defensively he will be a presence. He's going to block shots and be a tough under the basket player. I hate Chris Wilcox, I hated him at Maryland and I hate him now as a person, as a player, he's athletic and will be helpful at the offensive end, defensively he's a liability, but offensively he should be able o get up and down the court.

So my none biased prediction on the year?

It's easy 66-0 THE BIG 4 WILL RISE FROM THE ASHES AND DICK SLAP THE NBA!

UBUNTU!!!

It's all about 18!
