It's Good To See Cincinnati Has Got Back To It's Roots

I used to love Cincinnati when Bob Huggins coached there, it was full of thugs and convicts. Actually at one point, every single player had a criminal record. Since then, it has slipped a little in that department but Yancy Gates and one of the hardest punches I have ever been seen landed on Xavier's Kenny Freese Saturday brought us back to UC glory.

The NCAA has taken action and Cincinnati suspended senior Yancy Gates, junior Cheikh Mbodj and freshman Octavius Ellis six games each and freshman Ge'Lawn Guyn for one game.

Xavier suspended freshman Dez Wells and walk-on Landen Amos for four games, junior guard Mark Lyons for two and senior guard Tu Holloway for one game.

To me I feel Yates especially should be suspended 10 games. And I think Mark Lyons and Tu Holloway should be suspended 6 games for their post game comments.
