The NFL announced Tuesday that Steelers linebacker James Harrison has been suspended for one game for his hit on Browns quarterback Colt McCoy last Thursday night. A lot of times I think the NFL singles out Harrison, but there are only so many times that you can be warned (fined) before they is going to happen. This could be a really big blow for the Stleers, as they have to play @SF this weekend, Big Ben is already banged up, and the Steelers can't afford to fall behind the Ravens if they want a bye in the first round of the playoffs.
Maybe this finally gets the message to Harrison to stop knocking people out, but I doubt it.
DP's Take:

This is just another way that the league is anti Steeler. James Harrison was completely in the right when he hit a Colt McCoy who was out of the fucking pocket and acted like he was running the ball. The rules are once you are out of the pocket, there is no difference between a QB and RB. So Harrison treated him like a RB and knocked his fucking block off.
It's so crazy that if you legally hit Tom Brady when he slides late it's a penalty but Ben gets hit high/ low etc and never gets a fucking call. Yes, does he extend the play and bring it upon himself sometimes? Yes. But not all the time. James Harrison getting suspended for a big game against the 49ers has more to do with Harrison/ Goodell off the field then what actually transpired on the field.
Fuck you Roger Goodell!
