USC Should Be Pissed

So let me get this right? USC has 1 player act inappropriately and they get 2 years bowl probation and 30 scholarships taken away starting in 2012. The Buckeyes had at least 5 players acting inappropriately and won't be eligible to play for a conference championship or in a bowl game in new coach Urban Meyer's first season in 2012 and they'll lose three scholarships in each of the next three seasons. WTF Mate!

Obviously the NCAA is out to get USC and hated Reggie Bush because he was so explosive and sexy. I don't get why there is such a giant discrepancy for the penalties. Having USC shave down it's scholarships from 85 to 75 is huge. Especially with how Lane Kiffin has been building this program after Pete Carroll's mess. It's fucking ridiculous.

The best part of these penalties is that finally a coach is held responsible:
As part of its punishment, the NCAA made it nearly impossible for Jim Tressel to become a college coach again. The NCAA hit Tressel with a five-year show-cause penalty until December 2016, in which any school that wants to hire him must submit a report to the NCAA detailing why it needed to employ him and how it will monitor him to ensure he doesn't break its rules again. Any school hiring Tressel during the five-year period would be subject to more severe sanctions if he cheats again. NCAA Sanction

This is finally a step in the right direction, but it's still BS.
