I'm offended that the White Sox extended John Danks to a 5 year 65 Million dollars. They have no fucking clue what they are doing. We have heard they were going into "rebuilding" mode this whole summer, so instead of trading Danks for a ton of prospects and rebuild, they drop 65 million dollars on him.
The White Sox could have got a real good haul for him, from a lot of teams. My question is, if they knew they were going to extend him, why trade their up and coming closer for a prospect? That makes zero sense. I would guess they would ship Floyd now that they locked in Danks, but who the fuck knows at this point. They probably will extend Quinten too.
If I were a White Sox fan, I would be more puzzled at what this team is doing than this picture:
