Cavs 88 Celtics 87

This was a terrible loss for the Celtics. They had control of this game throughout, but then the Cavs scored the last 12 points of the game stealing an easy (and much needed) victory from the Celtics. There were a lot of good things going on before the last couple of minutes. Ray Allen came back and looked great scoring 22 points and going 4-6 from 3 and Bass had one of the better dunks you will see from a Celtic.

This loss hurt though. The way the Celtics have come out this season they just can't throw away game like this. You could tell after the game that this one hurt. Doc admitted so, but the worrisome comment came from team captain Paul Pierce...

"After the game, Pierce acknowledged turning the ball over too much. But asked what the Celtics should have done differently in the fourth, when he sat on the bench until the 3:42 mark - Boston still led by eight points at the time - he said, "Maybe I should have played more (CBS)."

This is getting a lot of play in the media, but I am actually not reading into it as much. If you listen to the rest of the interview it sounded like he was more pissed about losing then the decision Doc made. What should have you concerned is that it sounds like there is a chance Rondo could be could until the All-Star break.

So, what did I learn from this game? Kyrie Irving look like he might be the real deal.
