Is This Bill Belichick's Best Coached Year?

Bill Belichick is expected to win, his name has pretty much became synonymous with success. And this year is no different, Bill Belichick and the Patriots are in the Superbowl against the Rival Giants with the worst defense in football history.

He has basically had to play with confidence with only one side of the ball as the defense and especially the defensive secondary has been atrocious. After James Sanders and Pro Bowler Brandon Merriweather were cut in the offseason, the defensive secondary has been a revolving door between Matt Slater, Juliam Edleman, Sterling Moore, Antwaun Molden, and James Ihedigbo and although they may not be the best bunch of players, they somewhat get the job done.

Last weekend was a perfect example, the Patriots were going to lose the game and be knocked out of the playoffs if it wasn't for a Sterling Moore play. Now I'm not going to sit here and say Moore is a pro bowler, but he was at the right place at the right time, and the defense really bailed out a struggling Tom Brady.

Speaking of offense, if you would have told me preseason that Chad OchoCinco was going to be a complete bust and hardly play and this offense would still be a top one in the offenses in the country, I would call you crazy. But it's true Tom Brady created history with 3 players, Wes Welker, Aaron Hernandez and Rob Gronkowski. And a lot of the credit has to go to Bill for creating schemes for successful.

Whether the Patriots win or lose(please God), Bill Belichick deserves credit for maybe his best job coached.
