Patriots Bring Back Josh McDaniels

"Moments after Denver defeated Pittsburgh on Sunday, setting up a Patriots-Broncos meeting in Saturday’s divisional playoff game at Gillette Stadium, New England officially announced that Josh McDaniels has joined the team as an offensive assistant for the remainder of the 2011 season (WEEI)."

This fits in perfectly with Bill O'Brien leaving for Penn State after this season. Tom Brady has always been a big fan of McDaniels, plus he was the Patriots offensive coordinator in 2007 when they set all-time NFL records for points scored (589) and touchdowns (75). I always liked McDaniels and I guess we have to say he kind of got a bad rap in Denver since Tebow just got them to the 2nd round of the playoffs. Always kind of funny how fast people's views can change. Anyways, he should fit in great and at least we know this offense will be in good hands.
