ShEli verse the Golden Boy.
This game makes me so uncomfortable to watch, I remember when the 1st time they played in the Superbowl I was rooting hands down for the Giants. The Patriots were rolling on the 18-0 run and I didn't want Belicheat and Brady to go undefeated. This game is a little different though, if the Patriots win this gives them their 1st legitimate Superbowl Championship since spygate and gives Brady and Belicheat 4* rings. It also makes a mockery of football to, because then it proves that a team really doesn't need a defense to win in today's football. And with my favorite team being the Steelers, that doesn't bode well for them.
As for the Giants,
They pretty much match the Patriots fans for bandwagon/ annoying people. You have 10% legitimate fans, and the rest didn't know who David Tyree was until "The Catch". And since the New York Media is just excruciating as the Boston Media I can't give an edge that way too. I hate ShEli Manning more than any everyone in the NFL. I have hated him since his classless draft day nonsense and his stupid face. I constantly think he puts blame on his team rather than himself. There is no Strahan, no Tiki, no Antonio Pierce on the defense, so I don't get blinded in rage thinking about anyone on their defense.
So what are the positives for the Patriots; MHK, and how they have played for Myra. It was touching that BenJarvis Green Ellis scored and pointed to the patch. That's kind of it for me.
Positives for the Giants, I like that they have Victor Crus and how he went to UMass, and I wouldn't have to deal with Giant fans since I live in Boston.
So I guess for rooting purposes I'm going with the Giants and ShEli. I hope it's a 3-0 game with both QBs throwing 4 picks each.
Plus the Ravens should be in the Superbowl, with the missed call from the refs. Lee Evans had possession.
