NFL Power Rankings

Sorry it's a day late...

1. Packers (1) - Got their first loss of the season. Could be a good thing, but they have to be getting worried about the injuries not just to Jennings, but to their OL.

2. Saints (3) - Maybe the MVP won't be easily handed to Rodgers. Brees is getting close to breaking the passing yards record.

3. 49ers (6) - I have doubted this team all year, but hearing they haven't allowed a rushing TD all year is damn impressive.

4. Patriots (5) - Good chance they could get home field throughout the playoffs, but unless this team causes turnovers they can't stop anybody.

5. Steelers (2) - If Big Ben doesn't get healthy before the playoffs this team isn't going anywhere. My suggestion is to rest him the rest of the regular season, since they already clinched the playoffs.

6. Ravens (4) - All of their losses are against teams with losing record. Maybe they just play down to their competition.

7. Falcons (9) - Hard team to understand, but if I was the Packers I wouldn't want this team in the playoffs.

8. Texans (7) - Bad loss to the Panthers, but they get the Colts this week and are already in the playoffs. Getting a bye would be HUGE for this team.

9. Lions (11) - That comeback was incredible.

10. Chargers (13) - I know this is high for a team that is .500, but I don't think anyone wants to play them. Still, might be too little too late.

11. Cowboys (14) - Big game against the Eagles this week.

12. Jets (8) - Wow, that was ugly. They are still in the playoffs but have the Giants/Dolphins left to play with Bengals looking to take their spot.

13. Broncos (10) - If it wasn't for the turnovers the Broncos would've beat the Patriots.

14. Giants (12) - The Giants have lost five of their last six, but could still be in the playoffs if they win their last two games.

15. Bengals (15) - Would love to see this team sneak into the playoffs.

16. Seahawks (17) - They probably won't make the playoffs, but give this team credit they are a lot better then I thought they were.

17. Eagles (19) - It will be really tough, but the Eagles could still slip in. Why did it take so long thought?

18. Cardinals (18) - They have won 4 games in row now. Kind crazy since they were behind at half time in every one of those games.

19. Titans (16) - You lose to the Colts you shouldn't be the in the playoffs.

20. Panthers (23) - Cam Newton has made this offense into something, now they just need a defense.

21. Dolphins (22) - I am nervous about the Patriots having to play this team. Reggie Bush.

22. Bears (20) - It's too bad this was a good team, but injuries ended their season.

23. Raiders (21) - Carson Palmer era is not off to a good start.

24. Chiefs (28) - Maybe Romeo Crennel should be their head coach next season.

25. Redskins (27) - They won, still suck.

26. Bills (25) - That's now 7 games in a row they have lost.

27. Browns (29) - They play teams tough, but have lost 4 in a row and have Ravens/Steelers next.

28. Bucs (24) - They have lost 8 games in a row. Sad for one of the great stories from last year.

29. Jags (24) - I just can't help but feel bad for MJD. He deserves better.

30. Vikings (30) - 2-12, yikes.

31. Rams (31) - 2-12, yikes.

32. Colts (32) - Good for them, it's been a long year.

NFL Power Rankings

1. Packers (1) - Raiders game was over about 2 mins into it. Scary injury with Jennings, but it sounds like he will be back for the playoffs.

2. Steelers (2) - All of Steeler Nation had a heart attack with Big Ben was helped off the field. He was able to come back, but you have to wonder how much more of a beating he can take.

3. Saints (3) - Squeaked out a win against the Titans. The Saints really need the bye in the playoffs, because they just aren't the same team on the road.

4. Ravens (4) - Won their bye week over the Colts.

5. Patriots (6) - They won, but that their defense is terrible.

6. 49ers (5) - Tough loss in Arizona. This team needs to get Gore 100%, because Smith has showed he can't carry this team.

7. Texans (7) - Right now they have a bye in the first round of the playoffs and have 3 winnable games left (Tenn, Car, Indy).

8. Jets (8) - Jets doing a good job of taking advantage of easy part of schedule. Gets a bit tougher now with Eagles, Giants, and Dolphins left.

9. Falcons (9) - Strong 2nd half gives them a win over the dangerous Panthers.

10. Broncos (11) - If there was very tangable proof of God, this might be it. It just doesn't make sense.

11. Lions (12) - They won, but they haven't looked like a great team in awhile.

12. Giants (14) - Huge bouceback win against that not only put them back in the playoffs, but may have saved Coughlin's job.

13. Chargers (16) - Lookout, the Changers are doing their typical late season roll, but it might be too little to late.

14. Cowboys (10) - Last game of the season could be huge when they play @Giants.

15. Bengals (14) - At some point you have to win close games if you want to be in the playoffs.

16. Titans (13) - Chris Johnson disappears and the Titans lose. At least they get to play the Colts next week.

17. Seahawks (21) - Lynch is a free agent after this season, and the kid should get paid.

18. Cardinals (20) - Not sure how they keep winning, but good for them.

19. Eagles (23) - Have a chance to play spoiler down the stretch against Jets/Cowboys.

20. Bears (19) - They are just out of weapons, and Barber got some bad Divine intervention.

21. Raiders (17) - Carson Palmer blows.

22. Dolphins (18) - At least the Bush signing looks a lot better.

23. Panthers (22) - Cam Newton has maybe the highest upside in the NFL, but he needs to learn you aren't going to win in this league if you turn the ball over.

24. Jags (29) - MJD is a beast.

25. Bills (23) - HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.

26. Bucs (24) - Maybe they should fire Morris, because this is getting really ugly.

27. Redskins (27) - Rex Grossman scared be for a bit, but then he finished the game like he always does... pick/fumble.

28. Chiefs (26) - I don't think their coach deserved to be fired, not his fault he lost his starting RB, QB, and safety.

29. Browns (28) - How did McCoy get up after that hit?

30. Vikings (29) - It wasn't so long ago the Vikings were Super Bowl contenders, now they are 2-11.

31. Rams (31) - Injury or not Sam Bradford has been just awful this year.

32. Colts (32) - Poor Colts, it's weird seeing them being this bad.

NFL Power Rankings

1. Packers (1) - With the Bears falling fast the Lions the last week of the season will be the only thing standing between them and a undefeated season.

2. Steelers (2) - Their defense is starting to roll, that's not good news for the AFC.

3. Saints (3) - Only team in the NFC that would have a chance against Packers in the playoffs.

4. Ravens (4) - Beat Cleveland, but Flacco still concerns me.

5. 49ers (5) - Cant wait to see this team play the Steelers in 2 weeks. We will learn a lot that week.

6. Patriots (6) - Didn't like how they ended the game, but they are now one step closer to winning the AFC East.

7. Texans (8) - Who needs a QB with a running game like this? Maybe most underrated defense as well.

8. Jets (12) - Should be another easy win this week against the Chiefs.

9. Falcons (9) - I will never understand why this team throws the ball as much as it does.

10. Cowboys (7) - Every time I think this team is for real they do something like this. Losing to the Cardinals just isn't acceptable.

11. Broncos (16) - Right now, Tebow is in the playoffs.

12. Lions (11) - Saints are just a much better team.

13. Titans (17) - In the last 2 weeks Chris Johnson has 343 rushing yards, and might just get them into the playoffs.

14. Bengals (13) - As of today they are still in the playoffs, but showed they aren't ready for big time games yet.

15. Giants (14) - Gave Green Bay their toughest game of the year, but have lost 4 in a row and still have Dallas (twice) and Jets on the schedule.

16. Chargers (19) - There's the Chargers we were waiting for all year.

17. Dolphins (20) - Like I have been saying, no one wants to play this team right now.

18. Raiders (10) - What the fuck was that?

19. Bears (15) - Without Forte/Cutler this team is going nowhere fast.

20. Cardinals (22) - Kolb really needed that win.

21. Seahawks (25) - Seahawks suck, except for when they are at home.

22. Eagles (18) - This team has given up, and Reid should be gone.

23. Panthers (24) - Call me crazy, but this team isn't far off from being a 9 win team (maybe next year).

24. Bucs (21) - Rumors of Morris on his way out, which I think would be a mistake.

25. Bills (23) - Funny don't hear from Bills fans much anymore.

26. Chiefs (29) - Give them credit, they have been finding a way to win with scrubs.

27. Redskins (26) - Rex Grossman needs to be kicked out of the NFL.

28. Browns (27) - At least Hillis finally did something.

29. Vikings (28) - May have lost Ponder for next week, which is too bad because he has looked pretty good.

30. Jags (29) - If I was Maurice Jones-Drew I'd demand a trade before my career is over.

31. Rams (31) - What a joke this team has become.

32. Colts (32) - Orlovsky showed he deserves to start for the rest of the year.
