Phillips Get NHL.com Love

Anderson Named NHL's 1st Star

Sens netminder Craig Anderson has been named the NHL's first star of the week today. The Sens netminder has been lighting up the league with his stellar play as of late, helping the team to climb the standings to a position no expert thought we had a chance to be in. Good goaltending sure goes a long way doesn't it? Congrats to Andy and keep up the good play tonight against Winnipeg and tomorrow against Toronto.

True Story

This was the front page of NHL.com after the Sens win tonight. Finally someone showing us some much deserved love after knocking off the first overall team on the road by a shutout. Respect!

30 In 30: Ottawa Senators

Not much to really object to with what he said, all pretty straight forward, though perhaps some of you may disagree with the Anderson comments. We were pretty quiet in the offseason and are still in full rebuild mode and should be looking to get another top draft pick again this year. To read the full report click here.

Bringing Down Your Property Value Sens Style

It's sping time, well it should be at least despite the horrible weather the last few days, but for most, spring is a time to clean up and improve your household. Looking for something new to spruce up the crib? Don't worry, the NHL's got you. Now you can rock a massive jersey flag of the Sens and bring down your property value and draw the ire of your neigbors at the same time. Is there anything the NHL won't sell out and try and sell to fans? Apparently not.

I could see wanting to have this up during a nice playoff run or something, but otherwise it might look a bit silly. Even weirder, the product makes no mention of the specs of this eye sore. Is it 5 x 5 or 100 x 100, no one knows apparently. Luckily for us, the NHL made these for every team and this wasn't a Senators decision.

Save yourself the $109.99 and get yourself an actual jersey people.
