Eat Your Art Out V, Carnival After Dark
This is my piece for the Eat Your Art Out V Show.
Curated by Carmen "Jane Dope" Acosta and the Angel City Derby Girls.
It was also my first attempt at paper cutout illustration.
Show opens this February in Los Angeles, California.

I imagined the cold north woods. In hunger and desperation a fox attempts an ambush. The crows, too fast, laugh as they flap upwards to the safety of the pine trees.
I hope everything turns out well for the fox. The winter months are tough on everybody. Especially if you are on your own.

My original idea was to work on a Marceline piece, but since a lot of you guys have done really gorgeous renditions of her I decided to stick with this pair. :)
