23 (13) Michigan, 20 (11) Virginia Tech

Brady Hoke did what Rich Rodriguez failed at while coaching Michigan; winning.

Last night wasn't the prettiest game, and Denard Robinson had a pretty underwhelming game, but he made the passes when he needed to. He had 2 touchdown passes of 45 and 18 yards to game MVP Junior Hemingway.

The game was forced into OT by Virginia Tech outscoring Michigan in the second half 11-6, but after a missed field goal attempt by Virginia Tech in it's 1st possession in overtime, Michigan's Brendan Gibbons drilled a 37-yard field goal down the middle in overtime, lifting Michigan to a 23-20 victory.

Virginia Tech completely beat themselves in this game with mistakes and missed opportunities, they had twice as many turnovers and 3 times as many penalty yards. Virginia Tech had more than double Michigan's total yards, 377-184, and had 22 first downs to Michigan's 12 but settled for four field goals in regulation by third-string kicker Justin Myer.

Either way, this bowl season has been pretty good so far.
