94 Celtics, 86 Washington

Last night and Friday night was exactly what the Celtics needed, Detroit and Washington. We all have seen Ray Allen, Rajon Rondo, Paul Pierce, Brandon Bass and even Jermaine O'Neal perform at a high level this year, KG on the other hand hasn't. KG has looked slow, old and losing it fast on both ends of the court. KG last night had the best game of this year by far, in 28 minutes, he had 24 points, 9 rebounds, 3 assists, 1 steal and 1 block. And he did this against 2 athletic forwards in JaVale McGee and Andre Blatche who are two really athletic forwards (but also real dumb). So maybe this will be KG's coming out party and who else to prove he can keep it up against other than the Wizards in a back to back.

The guy who ran the show though, like always had a hell of game by messing around and getting a triple double. Rajon Rondo's final stats were 18 pints, 14 assists and 11 boards in 34 minutes. He ate former Wildcat John Wall up offensively. A lot of his points came from jumpers, he may not be the best jumpshooter but if he can keep this pace up and keep teams honest, that will be huge going forward. Although Paul Pierce had 9 points, this team the offense seems a lot more fluent.
