Although it wasn't the prettiest game, It is pretty awesome that Paul Pierce is now the Celtics 2nd All-Time leading scorer. Pierce didn't have the best scoring stats, but had 15 points, 8 rebounds, 9 assists. The funny thing about the play in which Paul Pierce hit the three, is on the next defensive possession Jermaine O'Neal celebrated the achievement by getting a technical. As for the game, it was a collective effort with 4 out of 5 starters in double figures and Brandon bass scoring 13. Kevin Garnett led the team with 22 points and 7 rebounds, while Ray had 17 and Rondo had 10 points and 14 assists. Kevin Garnett has been on fire, he should absolutely be an all star reserve and is a different player than he was in the beginning of the year.
