The Senators got their backup netminder today, bringing back Alex Auld for another stint in Ottawa. He played last season in Montreal backing up Carey Price. The deal is a one year contract, worth 1 million dollars. Since Alex is very well liked, I'm sure some of you are pleased to have him back. Given we needed a backup and what was available, it's a fine signing.
