TCU Goes Down Hard

FORT WORTH, Texas – Seventeen Texas Christian University students, including four football players, were arrested Wednesday morning in a massive drug selling sting that has rattled the campus and the Big 12 conference. The arrests were part of a six-month undercover operation by the Fort Worth police department and the TCU campus police. The four athletes arrested are top linebacker Tanner Brock; defensive lineman D.J. Yendry; offensive tackle Tyler Horn; and cornerback Devin Johnson, according to Fort Worth police documents. “We have a responsibility to ensure that our campus environment is healthy and safe,” said Chancellor Victor Boschini, Jr. “I want to make it loud and clear to everybody that if you want to do this kind of thing, you can’t go to TCU.” All of the students are subject to immediate expulsion. “There’s no doubt all arrested today are drug dealers,” said TCU Police Chief Steven McGee. “These students engaged in hand-to-hand delivery with undercover officers.” The students communicated via social media, McGee said. The drugs involved included marijuana, cocaine, “molly” — a powdered form of ecstacy, ecstacy pills, and prescription drugs like Xanax, Hydrocodone and Oxycontin, McGee said. TCU just recently joined the Big 12 conference, a huge change for the nationally-recognized team. Four of the arrested students are football team members.

You know, once you you join a big conference like the Big 12 it's tradition that you kick it off with a big scandal. And these kids did it big by not only being 4 of 17 people to be involved in this mega drug ring, but for being decent players on the team. Tanner Brock was a conference defensive player of the year and is going to be a huge loss to the team, I don't know much about the other guys but it obviously puts a black eye on TCU going into the year. I guess if you were going to TCU you were looking for the ring of drug dealers because look at the variety of drugs they had Pot, Ecstacy, Uppers and Downers. BMack would have been stoked if he knew these guys during our years at school, all the drugs listed above was the cocktale he took before even going out.

Vicente Pidilla Legal Troubles Might Keep Him From Spring Training

Vicente Padilla had an arrest warrant issued for his failure to show up in court for a child support hearing, only to have the arrest order revoked later but Padilla is rumored to be facing an order not to leave Nicaragua for spring training until this is resolved. Padilla owes approximately $4,200 in child support, which is the cause of the whole thing.

Padilla is not exactly known for being the best guy, but I am having a little bit of trouble believing this. He just signed a deal for $1.5 million, I think he can spend the $4,200 to not have that fall through and be stuck in Nicaraguan jail. My guess is that we don't hear about this again.

Sam Hurd May Have Taken A Giant Shit In The Apple Pie

So Sam Hurd getting arrested for trying to buy 5-10 Kilos of cocaine for the price of 25 K and 1000 lbs of pot to the tune of 450 a lb probably has about a dozen NFL players sweating.

Apparently, Sam didn't only buy all this to fund the youth of America with drugs but some other NFL players. My guess would be the coke, cocaine is the perfect drug to abuse during a season because it doesn't stay in your system long. It's in and out in a day or 2. Hurd faces up to 40 years in prison and a 2 million dollar fine but the NFL as a whole could be in for some embarrassment coming up.

Who I hope is on the list of players receiving drugs from Sam Hurd:
Tim Tebow
Bill Belichick
Tom Brady
Terrell Owens
Michael Vick
Matt Ryan
Peyton Hillis
Kurt Warner
Darren Sproles (that guy fucked me all year in fantasy football)
Andrew Luck
Roy Williams
Braylon Edwards
