Both Oklahoma Star QB Landry Jones and Heisman Finalist Wisconsin RB Montee Ball have both made would could be the worst decisions in their lives and decided to stay in college rather than going to the NFL.
Landry Jones would have been a sure fire 1st round pick, he already has the Sooner all-time leading passer with 12,389 yards. Andrew Luck and Robert Griffin III may be getting all the talk now, but I believe Landry Jones would have been a very good QB in the NFL. He has good size, accuracy, a big arm but does have a long throwing motion and tends to force things. With Landry going back to school, Texas A&M QB Ryan Tannehill, Arizona QB Nick Foles or maybe Oklahoma State QB Brandon Weeden will most likely jump into the 1st round.
I don't understand Jones' decision, but I don't understand Montee Ball's even more. Ball has done all he really can at Wisconsin and for RB standards. He finished the year with 1,923 yards rushing and 2,229 all-purpose yards, second best in Wisconsin history behind Ron Dayne's 2,242 yards in 1996. And he tied Barry Sanders touchdown record with 39. I know he was projected to be a 3rd round pick, but with runningbacks that run downhill like Ball, an injury isn't out of the question.
