Eagles To Franchise DeSean Jackson

Reports suggest the Eagles will franchise DeSean Jackson rather then let him hit the open market. If they can't come to a long term deal this could get very interesting, because I don't see Jackson taking this very well. He is one of the most talented WRs in the league, and a hell of a punt WRs, but he is a diva.

I really think th best thing for Jackson would be a change of scenery, and I actually think it might be the best thing for the Eagles too. Then again, if they can sign him so a long deal maybe he will be better, but if he is franchised, I wouldn't be shocked if he holds out a good portion of the year.

Andy Reid And Norv Turner Staying Put

I get Andy Reid staying. Although the Eagles didn't have the "Dream Team" season and finished the year 8-8, you won't be able to find a better coach than the Walrus. He is not only the coach, but the GM and all of their players fit under his scheme. If they were to get rid of Reid, they might as well cut every high priced player and start over. I'm not the biggest fan of Reid's scheme and they need to give it too Lesean McCoy at least 35 times a game, he is 126 and 81 and the Eagles will probably be a good team next year with the status quo.

As for Norv Turner, I am completely confused by this. This team, with the talent it has should never have more than 5 losses a season. Last year, this team went 9-7 and he followed it up this year with a 8-8 season and missing the playoffs. They are always an early out in the playoffs and just underachieve constantly. I'm in shock by this.

19 Chiefs, 14 Packers

The Packers undefeated streak is over after they were beat by the lowly Chiefs. Aaron Rodgers and their offense was quiet up until the 4th quarter where he threw and rushed for a TD. The Chiefs Kyle Orton beat the Packers in his 1st start and threw for 300 yards. This has to be worrisome to the Packer fans because great teams simply don't lose to KC.

34 SD, 14 Baltimore
The Ravens and their defense could not come up smaller for them. If they won out they would have secured a 1st round bye and home field throughout, now they have given the opportunity to the Steelers. Joe Flacco threw 2 picks and is just not good.

42 Saints, 20 Vikings
Drew Breesus had a great game, throwing 80 percent, throwing 5 TDs and over 400 yards. He is just unstoppable. Pay the man Saints. He only needs around 300 yards in the final 2 games to break Marino's record.

23 Washington, 10 NYG
Tom Coughlin and Bob's new favorite QB ShEli Manning both need to go if the Giants ever want to get back to their winning ways. ShEli threw 3 picks and pretty much killed their playoff hopes.

45 Eagles, 19 NY Jets
The Eagles are back to being the Dream Team after putting a whooping on the mistake prone NY Jets. Lesean McCoy had over 100 yards and 3 TDs and Vick played Mistake free as well. It's weird because I feel that this team had the potential to do this every week. The Eagles are going to win out and Andy Reed will still have a job.

Indy won

Reggie Bush for MVP, 30 something yards to get him over 1000 yards for the year. His 203 yards yesterday proved he is an every down back.

Cam Newton is still awesome.

Time For Andy Reid To Go

At this point it's really not a old statement at all, but it is time for Andy Reid to be fired. He has had an impressive run with the Eagles, but he has lost this team and has never been able to win the "Big" game. On top of that you add the problems with DeSean Jackson and the fact this entire team looks like they gave up and you know it's time for the new voice.

The "Dream Team" is now 4-8. With the talent on this roster, even when Vick is out, should be no where near this bad. Explain to be why this team has lost to teams like the Seahawks, Cardinals, Bills, ect. I mean I give them a little bit of forgiveness because they have had a pretty hard schedule, but 4-8 is 4-8 and when you have a worse record then the Washington Redskins (and Rex Grossman) it's unacceptable.

Andy Reid will get another job somewhere else and probably do well, but sometimes the voice of the coach runs it's course and I think Reid's time is now.
