Awesome!
Sens prospect Mika Zibanejad after scoring the OT winning goal in the final of the World Junior Championship last night. An awesome picture for the young Swede. Feel free to caption it in the comments section.
Zibanejad's Golden Goal
Sens blue chipper Mika Zibanejad instantly improved his season by scoring the OT winner last night against Russia for Team Sweden to give the 3 crowns the gold medal at the World Junior's in Calgary, their first since 1981. Congratulations goes out to Mika and Team Sweden. What an amazing moment for the youngster and his country.

Rundblad To Play Against Canada
Sens prospect David Rundblad has been added to Sweden's roster at the World Championship and will suit up vs Canada this afternoon at 2pm on TSN. I'm not quite sure why he hasn't been playing yet (I've heard he had a nagging injury but nothing concrete), since his season ended on April 14th and he was originally named to the team, but either way look for the blue chipper today if you want a look at a future Sen.

Silfverberg & Rundblad Named To Three Crowns
Two Sens prospects who have never played in the NHL, have been named to Sweden's entry for the upcoming World Championship. That's a pretty impressive feat if you ask me. The expected player named, is of course defenceman David Rundblad, who should be suiting up for Ottawa next season. The surprise addition is forward Jakob Silfverberg, who had a strong season and opened up some eyes to get on the team. The future is looking better and better for the Sens isn't it? You also have to think that Erik Karlsson would have been on the squad had he not been injured late in the season.
