The Celtics are playing the Mavericks tonight and these two teams are both going through the same problems. the biggest problem is that father time is chasing them, so luckily for the Celtics they aren't playing a totally athletic team.
Dallas is 5-5 and Boston is 4-4, and even with the mediocre play thus far, these teams are far from being done. Where the Celtics can exploit the Mavericks is in pretty much every spot but PF, I'll give Dirk the nod over KG offensively.
Rajon has played some uninspired ball the last couple of games and is in need of a 20 point, 14 assist game and when you have old Jason Kidd and Jason Terry (who is allergic to defense) that is possible. I also can't wait to see Mickael Pietrus in the second unit. The second unit has been disgraceful other than Brandon Bass. So adding another guy who will be able to stretch the floor and knock a couple 3s down will help out that bench. Marquis Daniels has been awful, so I'll like to see how that will play.
The Mavericks lost their two defensive studs in Deshawn Stevenson and Tyson Chandler, so you can score points and if Rondo pushes the tempo of this game, the Celtics should win easily.
