Surprise, Surprise, SVG and Big Baby Already Feuding

I want to thank Otis Smith for giving us Brandon Bass for Sideshow Big Baby.

Big Baby is a good role player and sideshow hustle guy and gets credit because.... he's fat. He was never anything too special, he had some big games here, but he also did A LOT of bonehead things. This year he is averaging 7 points, 4 rebounds and shooting 33% from the field.

Meanwhile Brandon Bass is a key player on this team and is averaging 14 points, 6.6 rebounds and is shooting 55%. I will never understand the trade and I will never understand why the Magic signed him to 4 year, 26 million dollar contract.

But I don't see his relationship and another idiot Stan Van Gundy to ever be able to get along.

Celtics Trading Big Baby For Brandon Bass (UPDATED)

"According to a league source, the Cs are in discussions with Orlando to send Big Baby, in a sign-and-trade deal, to Orlando for power forward Brandon Bass - a player Magic management had been very high on at one stage.

In addition, the Celtics are pursuing Chris Wilcox, a journeyman big man who played with Detroit last season. The team is also finalizing a trade for Bucks guard Keyon Dooling and a second round draft pick. Bass averaged 11.2 points, 5.6 rebounds, 26.1 minutes, and 51.5 percent field-goal shooting (all career-highs last season). I love everything about this deal. Big Baby was a good player, but he is fucked up in the head, and you just can't trust a guy like that. Bass is actually an inch shorter then Davis, but is a better rebounder. Bass is due $8 million over the next two seasons, which makes him a very affordable contributor.
