Filatov Is Fantastic

Nikita Filatov more than impressed in his debut in Binghamton, putting up a hat trick plus an assist in the B-Sens 5-4 OT loss to Syracuse on Friday night. I was never quite sure why he was sent down in the first place, but his B-Sens career is off to an amazing start. Look for him to be back up in Ottawa in the near future. Here are the hightlights.

Game 3 Controversy

The B-Sens dropped a tough one on Wednesday night 2-1, now trailing the series by the same margin. Game 4 goes tomorrow at 7pm in Bingo. The B-Sens nearly tied it up with less than 30 seconds to go but it was ruled not a goal, but there was some controversy to the ending. See the play in question here.

B-Sens Earn Split In Big Tex

After dropping game 1 in Houston, the B-Sens needed to rebound and get a split heading home to New York. They took care of business in game 2 and won 2-1 in OT, with Jim O'Brien potting the winner in extra time at the Toyota Center. Game 3 goes Wednesday in Binghamton.

Baby Sens On Brink Of Final With Blowout Win

The Binghamton Senators keep on rolling, winning game 3 of the Eastern final last night 7-1, and taking a 3-0 series lead. Standouts were Zack Smith with a hat trick and  Robin Lehner, who made 37 of 38 saves. It's not very often you see a team win by such a large margin and give up 38 shots.
