THE AUTUMN SOCIETY TRIUMPHS IN PARIS TONIGHT WITH 8-BIT CHAMPIONS!
Tonight the Autumn Society (www.theautumnsociety.com) conquers its first international art show in Paris, France, in collaboration with Geek-Art (www.geek-art.net) at LA FLAQ (www.flaq.fr).
Curated & produced by Chogrin & Thomas Olivri, we present to you the 8-BIT CHAMPIONS, an art show tribute to 8-bit games.
From Super Mario Bros to Pac-man, 8-BIT CHAMPIONS offers a wide variety of all your old school arcade / home console systems with the elegance and variety of art that the Autumn Society has to offer and is known for. Magnificent french artists like McBess (www.mcbess.com) and others will be joining us as well!
Stay tuned for more coverage on this epic event! Next international stop for the Autumn Society is MEXICO CITY for the Iconoclastic Dead Show (October 1st)!

Hi Autumn Society, my name is Campbell Whyte and this is my Ninja Gaiden for the 8-Bit Champions.
The framing was done by a fantastic local guy who I went to for my last show. He made some amazing colour and shape recommendations, which I think have really brought the illustration to life. If you like this check out my other 8-bit series, 8 Bit Dreams.

This is my piece for the 8 Bit Champs show. Its spray paint on vintage album paper. There will also be a limited run of 15 pieces also on vintage paper. As always its a pleasure to participate in this wonderful group. Thanks to Chogrin.

Hey fellow gamers/drawers/nerdy-types: here's my submission for the 8-Bit Champs show!
The game I chose was Dragon Quest, or, if you grew up here, Warrior, which was literally my first foray into the realm of RPG's. It was also the first video game I got that wasn't Super Mario Bros., which came bundled with my NES console. And as a bonus, I got it for free with my subscription to Nintendo Power, a subscription which I almost wholeheartedly blame for my current, adult addiction to reading endlessly about videogames.
PAC-MAN'S MEAL
My new piece for the upcoming show "8-Bit Champions", as you can see i made this piece inspired by one of the biggest and classic videogames ever, PAC-MAN. Also was one of my first videogames, so i hope this work could make a good tribute to this classic!
