The Jets Are A Bunch Of Cowards

“We have to bring in another quarterback that will make him work at practice,” said one player. “He’s lazy and content because he knows he’s not going to be benched.”

“Come on. That’s a no-brainer,” a Jets source said. “If you have a chance to get a healthy 36-year-old Peyton Manning and you don’t do it, then you’re stupid. If I could get a healthy 36-year-old Peyton Manning, then, hell yeah, I would trade Sanchez.”
“We already have his coach — Tom Moore,” one well-respected player said. “Plus, he’s a field general and will get everyone lined up. He will get his playmakers the ball. We can win a Super Bowl with Peyton.”
“How can we when he’s not improving at all?” one of Sanchez’s teammates said. “He thinks he is, but he’s not. He has shown us what he’s capable of.”
“At one point, he was looking at the (pass) rush and wasn’t seeing the receivers,” a team source said. “I think that’s a lack of confidence in what we’re doing. I think that’s a lack of confidence in how we’re protecting him… When you get hit the way that he got hit, there were some quarterbacks that wouldn’t have made it through the season.”

The Jets have been extremely aggravating me this offseason. The most recent drama is a bunch of anonymous players have been taking shots at their QB Mark Sanchez.

Whether you think Sanchez is a good QB or not, to go under the blanket of anonymity is ridiculous. At least Greg McElroy and LT had the courage to go and say these things publicity.

This speaks volumes of what this locker room is like, and Rex Ryan needs to find a way to wrangle these players in to one cohesive unit. Rex Ryan opened pandora's box by saying the most outlandish things all year, that his players lost the hierarchy of a locker room. Rex has a big year coming up.

Take for instance the best franchise in football the Pittsburgh Steelers. Ike Taylr may have had the worst game in the history of cornerbacks and after the game he manned up and said, "First off I want to congratulate Tim Tebow and The Broncos" then "Second I apologize for playing the worst game at the wrong time, apologize to teammates, steelernation and family" That's class, that being a man.

As for the Jets this offseason? I have seen monkey shit fights that are more organized than their locker room.

Good For Greg McElroy

I'm normally pro Jets and I somewhat like Rex Ryan and the arrogance of the New York Jets, but we shouldn't be surprised when shit hits the fan when they don't win. This is the bed that Rex Ryan and the Jets have made and now they have to lay in it. I had no problem with the Jets players did after the game and to the media, especially when we see people in Boston all the time being sore losers (Bill Belichick, John Lackey, Josh Beckett), I'm sure losing your last game to the lowly Dolphins and not being in the playoffs stung. I sure as hell wouldn't want to talk to the media, and although they are professionals that are millionaires, they are human, blowing off the media is fine.

I'm also fine with back up QB and former Tide star Greg McElroy's comments yesterday when he called out his teammates, saying; "It's definitely not a fun place to be, I can assure you," the rookie quarterback said Wednesday on a Birmingham, Ala., radio station "It's the first time I've ever been around extremely selfish individuals, but I think that's maybe the nature of the NFL. But there were people within our locker room that didn't care if we won or lost, as long as they had their good [individual] games, and that's the disappointing thing."

The only thing I wished is that he was more relevant or a veteran on the team, or he was Mark Sanchez and that he used names. I don't know specifically who he's talking about but one can assume that it is directed toward their WR's and especially Santonio Holmes. They hurt their team and they deserve to get dragged through the mud for that. BMack and Rob criticized LT for saying comments about making comments about Holmes because he is leaving, but fuck that, the world should know how shitty of a teammate he is because he hurt the team. Anyone who puts themselves over the team on the field doesn't and shouldn't have a say.

Back to McElroy, it's going to be ridiculous next season when it kicks off and he's not on the Jets and Santonio is.

Jets Season Ends On Sour Note

As I am sure you have heard by now the Jets will not be in the playoffs this year, but the bigger story seems to be that the entire locker room as fallen apart. Everyone on the team seems to hate Holmes, and it sounds like he just gave up on the team...

"Said one Jet: "He's been a problem all year. He's not going to change." Added another: "He's a cancer. It's like dealing with a 10-year-old (WEEI)."

LT decided it was a good idea to rip him, which is pretty gutless if you ask me, since everyone knows LT won't be back with the Jets next year anyways. Now, I think it's going to be pretty damn tough to have Holmes back next year, and he is their best offensive player.

If that wasn't bad enough Bart Scott refused to talk to the media giving the finger to everyone as he walked out, and rumors are he will also not be returning next year. Also, Revis refused to talk to the media, which I was kind of surprised about because usually he is pretty good about stuff like that. Not that it's a big deal since he didn't lower himself to giving everyone the finger or slamming a teammate, but I thought if anyone was to step up and talk it would be him.

Their fearless leader Rex Ryan cried like a little girl and admitted he lost control of the team. We all wondered how long his way of coaching would last. I don't think he will or should be fired for not making the playoffs this year, but it was pretty obvious he needs to make a lot of changes. Holmes is going to have to go, they are going to need to get a new offensive coordinator in my opinion although they seem to be standing by Brian Schottenheimer (other rumors suggest he could be the new Jags coach). They are going to lose LT, which isn't much of a loss, but they will probably need to bring in another RB. They are going to need to rework that defense, and obviously they are going to need to find new leadership in this locker room.

Mark Sanchez Banging Kate Upton

Well not only is Mark Sanchez one of only 6 quarterbacks in NFL history to have at least 30 wins in his first three seasons. He’s tied for the most road playoff wins in NFL history. He's also banging the hottest chick in the world.

He just brought a big checkmate to the rest of the NFL as the best looking couple. Both of them just ooze sexiness. Probably Patriot fans will call he over rated and say that tranny looking man Brady is banging is hotter, but that's typical New England Patriot complex.

Mark Sanchez has had a decent year this year, but last week he did awful, but you can't blame him when he has this piece waiting for him back home.
